  Story- 1

1- Translate the following stories in English (Simple Present Tense)- 

चंदन एक  साधारण व्यक्ति है । वह एक किसान है। वह गांव में अपनी पत्नी के साथ रहता है ।वह सुबह जल्दी उठता है । वह दांत साफ करने के लिए ब्रश का प्रयोग नहीं करता है । वह नीम के पेड़ की छोटी टहनी (दातून) से दांत साफ करता है। नहाने के बाद वह नाश्ता करता है। वह सुबह जल्दी अपने खेत पर जाता है।वह बाजार से खाना नहीं खरीदता है। वह इसे अपने खेत में उगाता है।वह कुछ सब्जियां जैसे आलू,प्याज और टमाटर भी उगाता है।वह पैसे से कपड़े नहीं खरीदता है।वह दुकानदार को कुछ चावल और गेहूं दे देता है और दुकानदार उसके बदले में उसे कपड़े दे देता है।

Translation- Chandan is a simple person.He is a farmer.He lives in village with his wife.He gets up early in the morning.He does not use tooth brush to clean his teeth.He cleans his teeth with a small twig of neem tree.He takes break fast after bath.He goes to his field early in the morning.He does not buy food from market.He grows it in his field.He also grows some vegetables like potatoes,onions and tomatoes. He doesn't buy clothes with money.He give some rice and wheat to the shopkeeper and the shopkeeper gives him clothes in  exchange.

Story-2

मेरा नाम अमित है। मैं एक गांव में रहता हूं। मुझे मेरा गांव बहुत पसंद है। मैं कक्षा 10 में पढ़ता हूं। सौरभ मेरा मित्र है। वह मेरे साथ मेरे साथ मेरे स्कूल में पढ़ता है। वह मेरे गांव के पास रहता है। मुझे क्रिकेट खेलना पसंद है। हम साथ में क्रिकेट खेलते हैं। गौरव सौरभ का छोटा भाई है। वह कक्षा 8 में पढ़ता है। वह भी हमारे साथ क्रिकेट खेलता है।

Translation- My name is Amit.I live in a village.I like my village very much.I study in class 10th.Saurabh is my friend.He reads with me in my scool.He lives near my village.I like to play cricket.we play cricket together. Gaurav is younger brother of Saurabh.He reads in class 8th. He also play cricket with us. 

Story-3

मिस्टर शर्मा एक अध्यापक हैं। वह हमारे विद्यालय में पढ़ाते हैं। वह एक अच्छे इंसान है।वह हमें अंग्रेज़ी पढ़ाते हैं। उनके पढ़ाने का तरीका बहुत अच्छा है। सभी बच्चे उनका बहुत सम्मान करते हैं।मैं भी उनका सम्मान करता हूं।वह प्रतिदिन समय पर विद्यालय आते हैं।सभी बच्चे उनकी आज्ञा का पालन करते हैं। 

Mr. Sharma is a teacher.He teaches in our school.He is a good person.He teaches us English.His way of teaching is very good.All children respect him.I also respect him.He always comes to school on time.all children obey him.

Story-4

रामू एक दूधवाला है। उसके पास एक बड़ी काली गाय है। वह प्रतिदिन सुबह अपनी गाय का दूध निकालता और उसे बाजार में बेचता है। वह धन को घर में लाता है और अपनी मां को देता है। लेकिन उसकी मां उसे कभी पैसे नहीं देती हैं।

एक दिन रामू सुबह जल्दी उठता है और अपनी गाय का दूध निकालता है। उस समय उसकी मां सो रही होती है।वह अपनी मां को बिना बताए दूध को बाजार में बेच देता है। वह रास्ते में यह सोचता है कि वह अपनी मां को पूरा धन नहीं देगा। वह अपने लिए कुछ पैसे बचाएगा और कुछ समय बाद उसके पास काफी धन हो जाएगा। वह उस धन से गाय और भैंस खरीदेगा और एक अमीर आदमी बन जाएगा।

Translation- Ramu is a milk man.He has a big black cows.He milks his cow every morning and sells it in the market.He brings the money to his house and gives it to his mother.But his mother never gives him money.

One day he gets up early in the morning and milks his cow. At that time his mother is sleeping.He sells the milk in the market without telling his mother.On the way he thinks that he'll not give all the money to his mother.He'll save some money for himself and after some time he'll have a lot of money.He will buy cows and buffaloes with that money and one day he'll become a rich man.

The young men seem a great enthusiasm to serve their country.it is also true that the country needs the service of every young man to improve the condition of people. our ordinary bookish knowledge is not enough useful for the people of country.A poor farmer wants to know that how he can grow good crop.It is the responsibility of every young man of country that after taking education, they should serve their country with the true heart.

Story - 6

कठिन हो या सरल , पर्याप्त आय का हो या कम ,हाथ में जो काम आए उसे अवश्य स्वीकार कर लेना चाहिए। और जितनी योग्यता हो उसका निर्वाह करना चाहिए। बेकार बैठे रहने वाले आदमी की अपेक्षा किसी काम में लगे रहने वाले व्यक्ति को ऊंचा पद प्राप्त करने की संभावना अधिक रहती है। बहुत दिन हुए जब में तुम्हारी जैसी स्थित में था तब आठ आने रोज की मजदूरी पर कुली के काम से कोई बेहतर काम मुझे नहीं मिला। मैं तुरंत उसे करने लगा । आज मैं इस कारखाने का एकमात्र स्वामी हूं। यह चालीस साल पहले को बात है।

Story-7

Hindi to English translation-

जब भारत स्वतंत्र हुआ , तब अनेक रियासतें थीं । सरदल पटेल ने जब तक उन्हें भारतीय गणराज्य में सम्मिलित नहीं कर लिया , वे चैन से नहीं बैठे । जब तक वे जीवित रहे , देश के एकीकरण में जी - जान से जुटे रहे। उनकी मृत्यु के पूर्व ही हैदराबाद से जैसी रियासतें भी विशाल भारत का अंग बन चुकीं थीं । केवल का पुर्तगाली राज्य ही ऐसा था जो पटेल की मृत्यु के बाद भारत में सम्मिलित हुआ। जब तक गंगा में जल प्रवाहित होता रहेगा तब तक सरदार पटेल का नाम अमर रहेगा ।

There are many states in India at the time of her independence. Sardar Patel did not sit quietly till he had not merged them into the Indian Republic. हुई जनसंख्या और साम्प्रदायिक दंगे दो प्रमुख समस्याएँ है। हमें इन्हें सुलझाना है। जब तक प्रत्येक देशवासी इसके लिए प्रयत्न नहीं करेगा, तब तक यह समस्या सुलझ नहीं सकती। आओ हम सब प्रतिज्ञा करें कि हम देश में शान्ति लाने का हर प्रकार से प्रयत्न करेंगे।

Hindi To English Translation: 

Our country became free fifty years ago. There is a great difference between the India of the past and of today. In the ancient times we were

prosperous. There was no shortage of wealth and food. People ate less but they were

happy. Today we have pleasure and facilities in abundance. Even then there is darkness

all around the country. The two main problems are our increasing population and communal

riots. We have to solve them. This problem cannot be solved unless each of us try for it.

Let us pledge that we shall do our best to bring peace in the country.

Hindi Story-

बाढ़ के कारण चारों ओर पांनी ही पानी था। एक साधु गंगा नदी में स्नान करने गया। जब वह नदी में स्नान कर रहा था, उसने देखा एक बिच्छू पानी की धारा में बह रहा है। साधु ने उसे हाथ में उठाकर कई बार पानी से बाहर निकालना चाहा पर वह बार-बार पानी में गिर जाता अन्त में साधु सफल हुआ पर उसका हाथ लहू-लुहान था। जब साधु बाहर आया तो नदी के किनारे खड़े लोगों ने घटना का कारण पूछा। साधु ने उत्तर दिया, “जब बिच्छू कीट होकर अपना स्वभाव नहीं बदलता तो मनुष्य होकर मैं अपना स्वभाव क्यों बदलूँ?" सभी लोग साधु के लिए प्रशंसा भाव से भरे थे।

English Translation: 

Due to flood, water was all round. A saint went to the river Ganga for bathing. When he was bathing, he saw that a scorpion was flowing in the current of water. The saint tried him to bring out by hand many a time but each time it fell down into the water. At last the saint succeeded but his hand was bleeding. When the saint came

out, the people who were standing by asked him the reason of the incident. The saint replied, "When the scorpion does not change its behaviour though it was only an insect,

then why should I, being a man should change my behaviour?" All the people were full  of admiration for the saint.
